22.10.16 - Weekend #reading photos are becoming a thing, apparently. Today’s mix of professional and national interest brought to you by the colour #blue, #tea and #poetry http://ift.tt/2dvFQ0u

What Are You Reading Wednesday?

Currently Reading: Above, Best Australian Poems 2015 and Founding Feminisms In Medieval Studies (both of which have been in progress but lying aside for a while).

Recently Finished:

Double Up, Vanessa North (m/m romance, 3 star)
Rough Road, Vanessa North (m/m romance, 2 star)
Gays of Our Lives, Kris Ripper (m/m romance, 4 star; way better than the title/cover suggests).
Ash, Malinda Lo (YA fairy tale, 3 star)

Up Next: I have ‘Look Both Ways: Bisexual Politics’ waiting for a day when I have enough brain to face non-fiction that’s Relevant To My Life.

Throwbackto: October 2016 reading. Not the greatest photo I’ve ever taken, but I miss that mug!

3.9.18 wall paintings, St Stephan’s church, Leuk. My guess is early modern, although possibly the lower fragments might be late medieval

Collared doves, late May.

May 2015: collared doves.

Bonus throwback (I’m mostly avoiding posts that I previously reblogged as throwbacks): these here collared doves were so scandalous they got caught in the porn filter. (Worryingly, this happened at some point in the last week or so - they weren’t flagged when I went through 2015 for throwbacks.)

Tumblr, I know I send pigeon pics to my girlfriend, but. That’s. That’s not what they’re for.
