#Repost @highlyeccentric - saw the absolutely epic #blanglosaxons Anglo Saxon Kingdoms exhibit on Thursday. I did not tear up, but I did definitely plaster myself across the glass and recite ‘hwaet ic swevene cythan willan...’ under my breath at the Vercelli book. As one does. ・・・ 7.2.19 feels somewhat like coming home... if coming home involves approaching from a different direction and discovering a giant front gate you’ve literally never realized existed until now.
