6.8.19, ‘Gluten-Free Is the New Black’, Nara: I haven’t so much as laid eyes on a lamington for over six years, and so often they’re disappointing: too dry, too much or too little jam, too much cake to not enough chocolate. And, of course, wheat based.
But this lamington? This lamington is perfection. Modestly sized, soft but not soggy, absolutely delicious butter cake centre, *and* gluten-free.
