ugly_fruits_suisse last week, got my first fortnightly box last Friday. So far the red lettuce has gone into a leafy salad (🙀I never make leaf salad!), along with half the radishes. One leek and some celery went into a soup of leftovers; the other leek, with half the zucchini, into lemon and yoghurt pasta sauce. Broke out the green beans tonight (with antipodean lamb! I broke my ‘local and/or organic’ resolution for that) for stir-fry. All the celery/leek ends and all the rocket (blech, rocket) went into overnight slowcooker stock.
I’ve eaten almost all the fruit, too! Surprised how quickly I got through it - I suspect it wouldn’t go so fast were I not working from home. Bought some less-local items today; hopefully the lettuce is still edible and plays nice in a sweet potato salad.
