7.9.19 East-west descent onto the backup runway at Kingsford Smith, with 35k westerly winds having closed the two easier landings. Not Australia’s smoothest descent, but far easier than last time I came in this way. And this time in clear daylight- stunning view over Clovelly beach and Waverley Cemetery and, with Bronte, Tamarama and Bondi beyond.
