Testing Post By Email

The latest tumblr update knocked out several queue management tools in xkit that I used a lot for the photoblog, and then gmail and instagram are both fighting with IFTTT, so syndication isn't always working anyway. Next step: test out a couple of different email clients for post-by-email options (so far, it seems like EITHER i can have a true plain text interface, needed for not-weirdly-broken lines on DW, or I can have scheduled emails. Ugh).

Here: some good waterfowl, Geneva, 25 June. (In order: red-crested pochard; mystery goose; mute swan.)

Ed: aaand the first lesson is that apparently I need to manually shrink photos, like it's 2006.

Ed2: images as attachment don't show up. Perhaps pasted inline?

Ed3: Okay, protonmail is a no-go. Let's try gmail...

Images uploaded to gmail in reverse numerical order, but I can work with that. I'll need to add a cut or size down even further, in future, but looks like that's the working option. Good news is the weird line breaks that sometimes happen with Gmail aren't happening now!
